Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at First Baptist Dayton. Through our congregational music, Adult Choir, and God's Kids' Choir we strive to praise God weekly through song. 


Choir Notes: October 2025

Adult Choir:

Our Adult Choir is hard at work preparing for our Community Christmas Program this year. I want to remind everyone that the Community Choir event will be at First Baptist this year on December 7th at 6 PM. It’s going to be a great night of music! You do not want to miss it! If you know anyone that might want to participate, please let me know or contact the church office!

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir takes the joy of singing into our morning worship services. Their committment to the Lord and praising him every week in song is truly amazing to witness. We have around 15 members or more but would love to fill the back row of this choir loft one day! You could be the next new member in this group. It is a wonderful ministry to be a part of, and we are a family. You will be welcomed with open arms. The Adult Choir meets every Sunday evening at 4:45 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the choir room. We hope to see you there, especially you male singers out there!

Kingdom Kids Choir

Who: Kingdom Kids Choir is Age 4 yrs-5th Grade.

When: Once a month  @ 5:00pm

Where:  Preschool Area


Kingdom Kids Choir is continuing preparations for our Christmas program! We can’t wait to share our songs and Scripture with you all!

We will practice again October 19th and November 16th so mark your calendars!

Sound Booth Ministry

Do you have an interest in working in the sound booth?

We need volunteers to run the video presentations, live stream and the sound on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get involved in our church,  and serve the Lord. It is not as difficult as you may think, so please pray about joining in this area of service. 

If you desire to find out how to operate in this area,  we can train you.
